Geometric ceiling planes defined by concealed linear light.
IN-038 emphasizes angles and intersections, making accurate alignment especially important in an illuminated grid.

Designing concealed LED light with IN-038
The profile, source position and reflecting surface must be planned together. That coordination is what turns a hidden linear source into an architectural ceiling effect.
Let the profile geometry lead
A clean reflected wash can clarify the profile’s directional planes. The light boundary must follow the geometry precisely so corners remain sharp and the front face stays white.
Treat the strip, channel and diffuser as one system; confirm their setback and aiming with the selected components. The principle is related to architectural light coves, adapted here to the beams of a coffered or waffle ceiling.
Match the effect to the room
The effect complements modern homes, gallery-like rooms and design-led renovations with strong architectural axes.
Control the ambient layer separately from recessed spotlights or decorative fixtures so the room can shift from everyday use to a quieter evening scene.
Plan the concealed components
Set out the grid from the room’s primary sightline and coordinate every illuminated corner before fabrication. Consistent setbacks prevent visible changes in brightness at crossings.
Also establish wiring routes, driver location and access, heat management and dimming compatibility before the beam details are closed and finished.
