Fewer site-built stages
Pre-shaped profiles replace much of the beam-box fabrication and broad drywall finishing.
A modern construction method
The finished ceiling keeps the depth and rhythm of a traditional coffered grid. The path to that finish uses fewer site-built layers and fewer broad-surface finishing stages.
Why the method matters
A traditional boxed coffered ceiling is commonly built as a small construction project within the room: framing is laid out, drywall is fitted around several faces, corners receive bead, and broad surfaces are taped, compounded and sanded before painting.
Everest’s system begins with lightweight profiles that already have the beam shape and a plaster coating. Installers align and bond the profiles, then focus the finishing work on joints and intersections. Depending on the room, this can eliminate much of the separate framing, drywall boxing, corner-bead work and broad-surface taping associated with a traditional build.
The exact sequence, installation time and cost depend on room conditions, grid complexity, access, lighting and the required finish. A project review is needed before making schedule or savings commitments.
Component comparison
This simplified section shows the typical stages involved. It is a planning illustration, not a structural or installation drawing.
Traditional site-built beam
Everest lightweight profile
Pre-shaped profiles replace much of the beam-box fabrication and broad drywall finishing.
The lightweight core is easier to handle overhead than solid timber or a fully framed and drywalled box.
A repeatable profile helps intersections and long beam runs keep the same visual language.
Pot lights and concealed LED concepts can be coordinated with the grid before installation.
Long-term product protection
Everest’s published warranty covers eligible manufacturing or material defects affecting the moulding’s structural integrity, EPS substrate or original plaster coating for the lifetime of the moulding under normal interior use.
The remedy is replacement of the defective moulding product. Labour, removal, reinstallation, painting, finishing, electrical work and damage from improper installation or external causes are not covered by the voluntary product warranty. Legal rights required by applicable law remain in place.
