Light inside the architecture
LED lighting for coffered ceilings.
Use the beam grid to organize direct lighting, soft indirect light, or a balanced combination of both.
Three approaches
Direct, ambient, or layered.
Recessed spotlights aligned with the grid
Recessed spotlights can be centred within individual coffers or installed on suitable beam faces when the chosen profile provides enough space and clearance. Planning their positions with the grid makes the finished ceiling look balanced and intentional.
Concealed LED ambient lighting
LED strips can be concealed above a suitable beam detail so they wash the ceiling with indirect light. The source remains hidden while the reflected light creates a softer evening atmosphere.
Both in one ceiling
Direct light handles everyday tasks; concealed LED light changes the atmosphere. Separate controls make it easy to move between bright working light and a quieter ambient scene.
Wiring can be neatly concealed inside suitable beam profiles. All electrical work must comply with applicable local codes, laws, and regulations and be performed by a licensed electrical professional.

Coffer beams with spotlights
Warm recessed light, aligned to each beam.
These examples show warm recessed spotlights centred on each beam and placed deliberately at intersections. Every lighting layout is tailored to the shape of that beam profile.

Plan before installation
What your ceiling plan should answer.
- 01
Which areas need bright task light?
- 02
Where should ambient light be visible without showing the source?
- 03
How will switches, dimmers and separate lighting scenes be organized?
- 04
Which beam runs provide the cleanest concealed wiring path?
