IB-03 · LED
A slim coffered-ceiling profile with a quiet line of light.
IB-03 keeps the grid visually light, making it a useful choice when the room needs architectural rhythm without a heavy ceiling treatment.

Designing concealed LED light with IB-03
The profile, source position and reflecting surface must be planned together. That coordination is what turns a hidden linear source into an architectural ceiling effect.
Let the profile geometry lead
Its shallow, clean outline benefits from a restrained reflected wash. Keeping the source well behind the upper ledge protects the crisp white beam edge and prevents the light from spilling onto the visible face.
Treat the strip, channel and diffuser as one system; confirm their setback and aiming with the selected components. The principle is related to architectural light coves, adapted here to the beams of a coffered or waffle ceiling.
Match the effect to the room
This proportion works especially well in lower ceilings, compact living rooms and contemporary interiors where a deeper profile could feel crowded.
Control the ambient layer separately from recessed spotlights or decorative fixtures so the room can shift from everyday use to a quieter evening scene.
Plan the concealed components
Use a compact channel and confirm the viewing angle before finishing the beam. A short mock-up helps establish enough setback to hide the source while still producing an even wash.
Also establish wiring routes, driver location and access, heat management and dimming compatibility before the beam details are closed and finished.
